We offer 1 hour guided Trail Rides and 30-minute Wagon Rides through a beautiful mountain meadow complete with a pristine stream fed pond and towering pine trees. Your guide or driver will be an authentic cowboy or cowgirl, you can even see them compete later in the evening performance of the West Yellowstone Rodeo!

Reservations can be made online, walk ins are welcome depending on availability.  The minimum age for trail rides is 6 years old but any age may go on a wagon ride and wrangler led rides are available for our younger cowboys and cowgirls. Payment Is necessary to hold your reservation. Reserve Your Spot Now!

Rodeo and Trail Ride packages are available in conjunction with the West Yellowstone Rodeo using the code “rodeoridepkg” at checkout. Rodeo and Trail Ride packages are available anytime through out the day starting  at 9:15 a.m. until 4:45 p.m. on rodeo evenings. Rodeo action that gets underway at 7:00 p.m. Reservations are required for this package.

We ride six days a week – Monday thru Saturday

Hours of operation: first ride of the day leaves at 9:15 a.m. last ride of the day leaves at 4:45 p.m. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for your ride. Online Digital Waivers need to be filled out for ALL participants. Please have this done in advance.

Sunday is a day of rest for both horses and cowboys/cowgirls.

Frequently Asked Questions

What packages are available?

The Rodeo and Trail Ride package – Trail rides are available from 9:15 am to 4:45 pm. and the rodeo begins at 7:00 pm The discount code to use at checkout for this deal is rodeoridepkg.

This package deal can also be combined with Wagon rides. Please call to schedule wagon rides.

Is there a Weight and Height requirement?

There is no specific requirement for the trail rides, we ask that the rider can get on and off the horse with
limited assistance. Riders must be able to maintain core balance while participating on horseback.

What are the age limits for trail rides?

Participants must be 6 years of age or older. We do not allow participants to ride “double”. For ages 6-17, we do require an adult to be present to sign their waiver.

Are the horses beginner friendly?

Our trail horses are trained to follow each other at a walking pace. So yes, all levels riders are welcome to participate and our wranglers are there to assist and help make it a positive experience as well.

What is the limit of people for a wagon ride?

The wagon can accommodate upto ten adults.

For wrangler led rides, and arena lessons, please call the office once it opens in June.

What should I wear and what can I bring?

There is not a dress code requirement, however, we do recommend wearing closed toe shoes and long pants if possible.

Back packs and purses are not allowed, but please bring your small cameras or phones for pictures. We recommend applying bug spray, using the restroom, and getting a drink before your trail ride begins.
